Heirloom Harvest, with the help of volunteers, donates produce to charity. One of good works that a community farm does is to donate a portion of what it produces to charity.
I f you feel that there is too much food to take in your share, you can leave your food on the table, knowing that it will be donated to a local food bank in Worcester, along with gleanings and other harvested food that is intended for charity.
In order to accomplish our charity goals, Heirloom Harvest offers a charity distribution coordinator workshare position. But other volunteers are needed. Please contact the farmer at farmer@heirloomharvestcsa.com. The donation effort can only be successful with your participation.
